It's actually a funny story, how I came to love Sherlock Homes. I saw the Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law movie when it came out a couple years ago, but I really didn't want to see it. I was convinced I wouldn't like it, but I LOVED it. So naturally, I wanted to see the sequel. I had high expectations for Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. However, it was...confusing? Confusing. It was a more complex story line than I had expected. There were consistent themes throughout the movie and, as always, had the ever- entertaining British dry humor. I kept finding the common theme of chess, which is I find intriguing in the context of a mystery film. I really do want to like this film as much as the first, so the smart solution would be to go see the movie again...which in fact I will be doing today. Until I figure out my feelings in regards to A Game of Shadows, I guess that's all for now.
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows is in theatres now.
