1. The first five minutes is cinematic, especially the wet flag as flotsam and the panning out to the White Slaves simultaneous grappling phallic ropes: sexy. I don't know what I mean by that. I must probably finish James Salter's Solo Faces or David Foster Wallace's Brief Interviews before I could find the right word here.
2. Russel Crowe singing is unbecoming, hilarious but unconvincing you know what I mean? RYPIT's Javert and even Jean Valjean comes to mind and I miss it and it is better in some ways, but probably more controversial, especially because of the issues about corruption and other Gossip Girl stuff I got from my comic genius/thespian savant sister.
3. The Them, over and over again: Hala naa mana siya sa kato ganing kataw-anan?
Me, thinking that I should stop this fackery before I go berserk: Borat, Bruno and The Dictator.
The Them: Aw o, The Dictator.

4. I was about to walk out on the show but kept on waiting for Hooper's version of One Day More, so I just slept, then was waken up by Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter's Thenardier piece, which is better than the RYPIT version. Sacha Baron Cohen should be in a Bisaya Short Film.
5. Didn't finish King's Speech. Anyone can tell me how good it is, like can you point out a comparison, meaning how does it fare compared to, say, The Wire, Flight of The Conchords, Peddleton Ward's Adventure Time and Seth McFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy? Or Bisaya Short Film's The Beach?
